Education vs Training
An author wrote, interestingly, about the difference between "education" and "training": If you were to advise your 16-year-old daughter on which course to take in high school, would you recommend "Sex Education" or "Sex Training"?
It means that to do your job better, you need training. But if you want to improve your career, go for "education" instead, since it won't commit you, while opening up new horizons for you.
